Village Idiots Finish Season with a Win by Forfeit |

The Village Idiots reputation led them to victory in the final game of the regular season, bringing their record to 6-1 and earning and second consecutive first place finish in the Summer League. Although no official contest was played, there was plenty of action as the V.I. intrasquad scrimmage brought out the best in a so-far quiet JY as he got himself fired up for his return to the playoffs as an Idiot! Forward Tom Casal led the V.I. this season with a scoring average of 15.3 ppg. Greg Harrison edged Casal for the rebounding title at 9.5 per game, and Fred Paul dished out 4.2 apg to lead in the assist category.
