___________________________________ The V.I. made a tailgating stop to enjoy the headcoaching debut of one of their own, as Fred Paul led South Side to a win over Long Beach in the season opener!
______________________________ The VI enjoyed a great weekend in Phoenix that saw the Mets take 2 out of 3 from the Dbacks! While in Phoenix, they were treated to the hospitality of bartender Tera and the rest of the great girls of Tiggo's before and after the games! You can bet after dabbling in the nightlife in Tempe, an ASU Pac-10 football game will soon make it's way onto the VI Tailgating Tour!
The 2008 Tour started in Detroit for the NCAA Midwest Regionals, including an amazing game between Cinderella Davidson Wildcats and the National Champion Kansas Jayhawks:
_______________________________________________ The Village Idiots Tailgating Tour returned to Michigan in '07, but this time they made two stops in one weekend. The famous Michigan/Ohio State game started the weekend in Ann Arbor on Saturday and was followed up with a game at Ford Field in Detroit as the eventually Super Bowl Champion New York Football Giants took on the Lions! The visiting teams took both battles, but the fun continued anyway!

After an insane European Kickoff at the World Cup in Germany, it was a rather modest 2006 season for the Village Idiot Tailgating Tour... that is only motivation to make 2007 absolutely ridiculous! Before the American Football season kicked off this fall, the V.I. got a head start and the global version of Futbol was the game of choice for Tailgating this summer... A select group of Village Idiots were in Europe for an 18 day adventure that began in Amsterdam and followed the crowds into Germany for the 2006 World Cup. With tickets hard to come by, the Idiots spent most of their time fraternizing with their German hosts alongside the grill in stadium parking lots. The strong beer and potent pork products put even V.I. veterans to the test! SEE ALL THE WORLD CUP STOPS AND PICTURES! Check out the V.I.
