Fall '06 - Game 5

The Village Idiots had a bad feeling going into their game against the XXL Gym this past Sunday. A tough opponent was hardly what the V.I. needed on a weekend where many of their key players had commitments to elsewhere. Throw in the fact that TWebs was kept out of the end zone for the first game this season...

In the Post-game interview, QB BStan summed it up:

"We stunk!!! Weber had trouble catching balls b/c of his broken finger, dropped a couple touchdowns... I underthrew a deep ball to "GAAARY" and it was picked, and for some reason we had trouble blocking their front three... it would have helped if [my main men] DKnip and DRye were there especially when they brought blitzes... they had a 12-0 at half with two short drives... defensively we werent terrible but they did score 3xs on us and after looking at that offense we shouldnt allow anything, they had one guy who was a playmaker at running back and that's it...whole different story with a healthy TWebs, DKnip and DRye at WR... Oscar was really the only option to go to all game."
