Beer Olympics - Oktoberfest 2006

The Olympians

J-Dubs (Wally) – John will be heading up to LW for the first time. J-Dubs is not only a longtime VI great, but he also is captain of the VI football team. His athleticism should pay dividends in the Beer Pong and Flip Cup events.

Joe C (Joey Angus) – Big Joe has made several trips up to LW, and should provide his team with veteran leadership as he is no stranger to Flip Cup. Joe might also see some time on the VI poker tour this winter.

Rikki (Sgt. Hooks) – Bad guys beware!!!! Rikki has been to LW so many times, it is like a second home. In her first Flip Cup tournament this year, she was very impressive. Look for Hooks to play a big part, in her teams’ efforts this weekend.

Brigid (Brig Mac) – Hailing from Baldwin NY, the “BRIG MAC” will be a huge boost to her team. Bridgette is making her first trip to LW, and should have no problem establishing her self, as a big time force in these games.

Brian (Crazy Eyes) – Crazy eyes is making his second trip to LW. In his first trip he impressed many, and earned a roster spot with his clutch performances in a Flip Cup tourney. Keep your eyes on crazy eyes!!!

Christine (The Originator) – Don’t let her quiet personality fool you, this fireball has been known to trash talk with the best of them while at the Flip Cup Table. To her credit, she also helped with the creation of Oktoberfest.

Sonny (Harold) – The Son Dawg is no stranger to LW, as he will be making yet another trip up. Look for Sonny to be a big help in all the events, as he is a seasoned LW veteran. Smoke ‘em if ya got ‘em.

Sarah (Air Farah) – To bad it will be too cold for tubing, as “AIR FARAH” holds the world LW record for air time (4 secs) and height (9’) while tubing. At roughly 100 lbs, her tolerance could be a concern.

Rocco (Chooch) – The Big Fella was disappointed to hear no eating events were taking place, but this guy can definitely put the cold ones back. Chooch, also could be featured on the VI Poker tour shortly, as he took down a few pots last weekend.

Marco (Big Papi) – Big Papi will be coming out of retirement for this Titanic event. He last saw Beer Pong action, at the upper east side's “Big Easy”. Can he step up? Look for this crafty thinker to help his team big time in the Scavenger hunt.

Denise (Ninja) – The Ninja will be making her first trip to LW, and no one really knows what to expect from her. She will definitely be the “WILDCARD” who could make a difference for her team.

Maureen (Tits McGee) – She will be one of the early favorites in the Beer Pong tourney. Mo-Dawg once had a complete Beer Pong setup at her house in Delaware. Her one eyed technique can be brilliant. Was also key member of C-UNIT drinking team!!

Allison (Nuudey McNuuderson) – The youngster won’t back down from anyone. The kid excels at flip cups, where she played for years in FP and UMASS. Another key member of the C-UNIT dynasty!! If she’s on, watch out!!!!

Brian (Focker) – Don’t let his size fool you! This RN can bring it!!! We’ve only seen him in limited action, but his skills at Flip Cup and Whiffleball should make him a key member to the 2006 festivities.

Mike (Wildcard) – Mike comes in from DC, and might still be recovering from his recent D.R. trip. Wildcard showed he can excel at many drinking games involving Cards….. can he make the transition to Flip Cups & Beer Pong? We’ll see.

Danielle (DDD) – Triple D is also making her first trip to LW. We don’t know what to expect from this rookie, but if the few times she has been out on the NYC scene is any indication of what’s to come… she’ll be a strong addition to this trip.

Mike (Nature Boy) – Nature boy will be taking time out from sky diving, rock climbing and riding the white waters to make his first trip to LW. This extreme sport guy can also down a beer faster then most. Should come in handy at the flip cup table!

Elisa (First Lady) – The first lady has spent a few seasons learning Flip Cup with the C-UNIT squad that went undefeated in a home and home series against the Boston squad. She is also one of the originators of Oktoberfest. If she is baited, could be a big trash talker as well. She will also have the comfort of home field this weekend.

Stacy (Button) – Don’t let the cute name fool you. This NYC girl has plenty of experience on the Flip Cup and Beer Pong tables. Stacy will provide plenty of experience and talent to her team. Again she is one of many making their 1st LW trip.

Gerard (The Captain) – A man with a legacy as long as... well it's quite a legacy. As close to an Original V.I. as one can get without being there from the beginning. As retirement from the gridiron seems imminent, you can bet this V.I. legend will fill that void quickly as his multiple talents are a valued piece of the Village Idiots Core. Look for an impressive performance out of this LW veteran.

and last but not least...

Gunner (The Mascot) – At 5 years old, this English Bulldog is fired up to make his second tip to LW. In his first trip Gunner brought unbelievable enthusiasm and an uncanny ability to produce saliva with him. He will always have a place in the VI family. Just don’t feed this well trained beast before the long road trip or you’ll be sorry!!!
