An Ugly win keeps the V.I. Rolling

The Idiots came out sluggish in the 1st quarter and Most Hated took full advantage of all of V. I.'s turnovers.  Most Hated's Bubba Sparxxx (the white Predator) plopped his fat ass in the corner behind the 3 point line and connected on two 3's to help put his team up 12-7 after the first.  The Idiots continued to struggle from the field in the 2nd quarter but turned up the Idiot style defense to hold Most Hated to 4 points and trailed 16-14 at halftime.

Despite the Village Idiots not being "gangsta" enough and the "HUSTLE" of the Most Hated's other Predator, the V. I. showed what it takes to be a Championship team.  The Idiots settled down and took control holding their opponent to only 14 second half points.  Backed by two Tommy Weber 3's and several fast break points the Idiots led 30-25 heading into the final quarter.  V. I. then outscored Most Hated 12-6 in the 4th and went on to finish them off 42-31 in a low scoring affair.

T. Webs finished with a season-high 10 points as did forward Tom Casal, who got a Technical foul for his fifth foul and was forced to watch the rest of the game from the sidelines.  Forwards Matt Sheils and "TopCop" Greg Gormsen grabbed 9 rebounds each and Center Greg Harrison finished with 6 points, 10 rebounds, and added 3 blocks.
