Since the 2006 World Cup Tailgating Tour, the Village Idiots haven't been involved much in the most popular sport in the world... that will be changing very soon! The VI Tailgating Tour returned to the Soccer World on September 5th, 2008 as they watched VI Veteran Fred Paul at his head-coaching debut for Southside Soccer! Fred and the South Side Boys Soccer team took it to the next level in 2009, winning the Nassau County Championship!!! Nice work!!!
The VI are also proud to be a part of the San Diego Indoor Soccer League again in '09! Dave Hollinger scored the first goal in Village Idiots Soccer history, and Corey Funderburk added FOUR goals in the VI's 1st win! Looks like it's gonna be a great season!
