Idiots Softball launches new website; Pre-season Tournament April 11th

With a new and exciting season coming soon, the Village Idiots softball organization has launched a new website. All Idiot softball news, stats and photos will all still be available on the VI site. In order to keep up to date stats and game results easier, the front office decided to provide fans with a new detailed site solely for their team.

The Village Idiots also announced on Friday afternoon that they will begin their 2010 campaign in the Nassau Conference Softball league pre-season tournament at Cantiaque Park on Sunday April 11th. The Idiots will be placed in a group of 4 teams where they’ll first play three 55-minute games and then based on the outcome be placed in either the championship game or 3rd place game. Game times to be determined but tournament play might start as early as 8 am. Cantiaque park is located in Hicksville, New York just off of Old Country Road.
