VI Hoops Returns to the Urban Pro League with Revenge on their Mind!!!

The Village Idiots haven’t been on the Urban Pro hardcourt since a disappointing 54-50 Semifinal loss to the Grizz in the Spring of ‘09. They will immediately get a chance to avenge that defeat when they open the Winter Season against the very same Grizz team that sent them packing last June. The game will be played this Thursday, 12/10 at 9:15 at West Side High School (141 West 102nd Street at Amsterdam Avenue - enter through back door on 101st St)
VI stalwarts Dan Knipscher, Linc Isetta and Edwin Caceres will be pulling double duty this Winter as they add the Urban Pro League weeknight schedule to the Manhattan Weekend Hoops League, in which they are part of a 4-1 Village Idiots Squad. In a strange coincidence, the commisioner of the Weekend Hoops league just happens to be the captain of the Grizz squad who they face on Thursday! Oh the drama!!!!
