Great weekend in sports…………. Let’s recap….
1. After seeing Texas and Florida play, I think Alabama will beat them both. The Tide are my #1 at the moment. Their defense is very tough, and they can be very balanced on offense. Now….. who’s #2????
2. Ohio State has a very very good defense. The defense alone outscored the Wisconsin offense 14-6…. Wisky’s lone TD came on a fake FG. The Buckeyes are my Big Ten favorites right now. TP needs to improve his play big time!!!
3. The Rangers baby!!!! Starting off 4-1 against a pretty tough schedule. Their only loss was 3-2 to the defending champ Penguins on the road… since then. 5-1 over Ottawa, 3-2 over the Devils, 4-3 over the Capitals and now 3-0 over the Ducks….. This team is going to be very tough.
4. Giants took care of business the way they should. Dispatching the horrible Raiders 44-7. Huge game this week against the Saints… HUGE!!!
5. Dallas squeaks by the Chiefs…. How good are they???
6. Denver beats the Pats in OT….. How good are they???
7. Cincinnati beats Baltimore……….. How good are they???
8. Peyton Manning and the Colts are my current pick to win the AFC… They look tough!!!!
9. Congrats to the Yankees!!! They dispatch the Twins in 3… and will now face their playoff nemesis….. ANGELS… I like the Yanks in 5 here!
10. Would love to have seen the Rockies - Phillies game played in the Snow.. Baseball in the Snow…. C’mon let ‘em play!!

The game wasn’t much of a contest, but those Jersey girls sure look good in Red!!!

1. Florida is still tops in my book - when Tebow gets healthier, they’ll only get better…Saban is still a douchebag and an NFL failure
2. OSU looked very good - they’ll have a tough test in one month when they play Iowa
3. The Rangers have a system goalie…let’s go Isles
4. The Yanks have some good history on their side - the last two times they swept the ALDS, they also swept the World Series
5. They should’ve called the G-Men/Oakland matchup after the first quarter…it’s ridiculous how bad of a team Oakland is…G-Men/Saints may be the best matchup of the year
6. CBSSportsline is the worst prognosticator of fantasy players - they advised that Cedric Benson would do nothing this week (120 yards with a td) - wrong yet again my friends…
7. I drank way too much on Saturday night and still went fishing on Sunday in choppy waters w/o pulling the trigger…the kid’s still got it!
