First Impressions…..
By Mystery Reporter | August 18, 2009
The Giants are going to be a very tough football team to beat this year! That is what I took away from their initial preseason game last night.
The Giants can do two things incredibly well, that always adds up to a very high caliber football team. First, they can get after the QB. They have the deepest, most talented defensive line in the NFL. Osi, Tuck, Kiwanuka, Canty, Robbins, Cofield…. etc. Did anyone else see 2nd round pick Clint Sintim last night either? He had a sack, and was pressuring the QB all night. They’ll be fresh and after QB’s all season long.
The second thing the Giants will be able to do is run the ball very well. Jacobs and Bradshaw killed it last night…. And Danny Ware didn’t look half bad either, as he added a TD on a long screen pass.
The key to the Giants success will be the play of their WR’s. If Manningham, Smith, Hixon, Moss, Hicks, Barden or anyone can emerge as a solid receiver…. this team is my Super Bowl Favorite!!
