New and Improved “Dildo” Pen Sparks VI to Much Needed Win

Following last week’s disappointing performance against the 2-6 Bambino’s squad, the VI were looking to bounce back last night against Cabana. The VI got a much needed lift before the game with the return of the Dildo pen. Tommy (Benjamin Teixiera) Casal must be learning a thing or two in the operating room as he sucessfully performed surgery on the Dildo pen moments before the game. Not only is it functional again, but is now longer and with more girth. A shaky top of the 1st left the VI down 4-0. After chipping away in the first 2 innings the VI came up to bat in the bottom of the 3rd poised for a big inning. A single into left field by Twebs started things off. Tstan came to bat next and ripped a ground rule double to right center. A Sac Fly by Tex was followed with a single by Joey Boombah (one of his four hits of the game). An RBI single by Jack Klompus and another Sac Fly by Johan BaBa Chesney gave the Idiots a 6-5 lead. Georgie Walls, who has been in mourning this past week with the passing of Michael Jackson, came through huge with a 2 out 2 RBI double down the left field line giving VI an 8-5 lead they would never relinquish. The VI played solid defense the rest of the way and won the game by a final score of 10-9 improving their record to 4-0 in one run games (6-3 overall). Big thanks to Espo and Studley coming down to help out with Espo contributing a Solo HR in the game. Post game festivities featured some much deserved beers supplied by Walls. Peter Francis Allocco supplied the entertainment with Van Halen 1. A quick reminder to all the fans out there that the VI has next week off but will look to continue the winning trend July 13th and get some redemption against the Bambino’s squad.
