Zec makes a Cameo, VI Hoops stays Undefeated!
By Corona Kid | May 27, 2009
Going into last night’s game VI had a 6-0 record with two games remaining. We played 2nd 2nd Amendment who was 3-3. At the start of the game Amendment must have had 15 guys while we only had 6(but that was including Zec!). Throughout the first half VI had a lead with the help of Tyler Springer scoring and couple of 3’s by Aubrey Brown. Going into halftime VI had a five point lead.
In the 2nd half, Amendment went on a run and took their first lead of the game but that lead was short lived. With clutch outside shooting from (VI Rookie of the yr) Chris B and Mike Raush, VI took control of the game. As usual Edwin Caceres was a force on the defensive end with his rebounding and clutch foul shooting to help put the game away. Our defensive MVP of the game was Mike Zec(who made his 1st appearance of the season), Zec had a couple of steals and few rebounds late in the game to help seal the victory. VI goes into the last game of the yr, sporting a 7-0 record. In two weeks, playoffs begin!!! Season Finale, Monday, June 1st!

what is this the New York Times? This website will publish anything without checking its sources..at no point in the game did I “Mike Rausch” provide clutch outside shooting…and to add insult to my poor performance, my name gets spelled wrong on a website that must have 30-40 hits a year….

On the contrary Mr. Rausch… the Village Idiot Sports Blog is up for a pulitzer for it’s “Review of Upper East Side BBQ Waitresses”… but yes, the Corona Kid could use a spellchecker from time to time
