Slow start for the Idiots…

A 7 run first inning by J.Bop was too much for the Village Idiot Softball team to overcome last night as they dropped their first game of the new season by a final score of 10-7… The VI showed signs of life throughout the game, and there was a glimmer of hope when ”Fat Boy”quickly cut the lead down to 3 with a 2-run HR in the bottom of the 7th, but the Idiots could not put together enough to mount a final inning comeback and a few sharp ground-outs sealed their fate.
Conveniently, they get another crack to notch a “W” tomorrow night when they face off against Tiki Bar at 8:20pm.
