The Idiots Seize Control of the Executive Division with Big Win!

Friday night’s matchup between the undefeated Village Idiots and the undefeated Werewolf Bar Mitzvah looked very good on paper, with both teams coming into the game at 5-0… and things started out close as the Idiots had trouble finding their range while the Bar Mitzvah got some big shots to fall early on.
It was close for most of the 1st half, but then the VI turned up the intensity on defense with Mike Rausch putting the clamp on the opposing sharp-shooter. On the other end, Ed Caceres and Ty Springer pounded through the paint and when the Bar Mitzvah D finally decided to collapse it was the famliar long-range barrage led by Linc Isetta, Dan Knipscher and Aubrey Brown that opened up the game. Brown’s third 3-pointer of the half beat the buzzer and pushed the half-time margin to 16.
There was no mercy in the second half as the Idiots poured it on. Looking to get home for a hot date, Isetta drained shot after shot from deep only to be matched by Knipscher before and after he split. The punishing VI Defense squashed any chance of this one staying close as the lead grew to 32 points before leveling off to a 74-50 victory.
Knipscher led all scorers with 28 points as the Idiots move to to 6-0 at the half-way point in the season. They continue their run for their first Urban Pro League title this Tuesday at 7:30 at Central Park East High School.

Games Notes
Lincoln left the game and the gym early to attend a “business function”. Speculated reports have run a gammit, …some believed he wanted to avoid the post game press conference connecting him to the 103 others on the A-Rod Steroid List. Some believe he had a stomach issues similar to that of Bob Hurley in the 1994 final four games…the speculation came to a halt when Lincoln was photographed out on the town having dinner with his mom and sister.
Knip’s cousin, the attractive female who photographed the game, proved that God did not punish the same family twice …
Injured Reserve to Tuesday’s Game
Knip’s girl is listed as questionable ….After a post-game scare attack of nausea (it was scare to those who sat across from and next to) she was forced to leave the after party to “get some fresh air”. The cause of the nausea was later realized upon investigators review. She was sitting across from her boyfriend’s, who was devouring his “duck”…that’s right he ordered DUCK…… she came to a realization that she was sleeping with this man….hell, that made me sick just typing it.
Edwin – listed as questionable…..doctors are researching Edwin’s manhood after not showing up for the post game drinks.
Zec – will maintain his questionable status, no injury related, but the post game suit and scarf just makes him questionable
