It’s about time we fix the system!
By Mystery Reporter | November 24, 2008
Can someone please tell me why the hell college football doesn’t have an 8 team playoff??? Think about what a mess this is and could become…
Scenario:
What happens if let’s say Texas is ranked higher than Oklahoma, and Texas loses to Missouri in the Big 12 title game. Let’s say Oregon State beats Oregon next week, and wins the Pac 10. Let’s say Bama beats UF in the SEC title game.
Who plays Bama?
8 team playoff would look like this… (not in any order)
Alabama
Florida
USC
Penn State
Texas
Oklahoma
Utah
Texas Tech or Boise State
Instead we have the BCS bowls… We’ll get the Big East and ACC champs filling 2 of ten spots… and unless Bama runs the table, no clear winner. This sucks!
And I think all conferences need to institute a conference championship game!

Here’s a better question…should Notre Dame drop its football program after losing to Syracuse this past weekend??? what a weekend of football!

Im still saying Florida will run over the remaining season… free shoes U will be dominated, Alabama will be dominated ( Wally…porterhouse for 2), then…well I think Oklahoma will be headed to the BCS over texas. Once they play oklahoma st they will be higher on the BCS.
