Dr. Ron’s Prescription for Week #2

The Mystery Reporter is a little under the weather, so he has asked me to step in and give you my predictions for a few of the big games for Week 2 of the College Football Season:
1. Oklahoma vs. Cincy - While Cincinatti is in my humble opinion making or already made a name for itself in the big east, this is the big 12. With this game being in Norman, DeMarco Murray should put up some good numbers, and open up some passing for a young qb named Bradford. I am taking the Sooners, just too much athleticism for the Bearcats to handle.
2. PSU vs. Oregon St- With rain in the forecast, this game might end up being closer than many think. Defensively PSU did not look good last week. Sadly to say, this is the first year where I feel it is sincerely time for Joe to step away. Problems have littered the program. With all of this said, PSU should still win this game. They have the best offensive line they have had since 94′, when they had Kijana Carter and company, which may be the best scoring offense ever. PSU wins this one, 38-24, but I have my reservations. A game to watch.
3. Ole Miss vs. Wake Forest - Not a very appealing game to me, but I take the deacons (WF) in this one. Game is at WF, they looked decent last week. Will see, Ole Miss has not shown me much since they had Eli Manning, and even then they won maybe 8 games.
4. West Virginia vs. ECU - My heart says ECU, my brain says WVU. In this game, I am going with my brain, Mountaineers win.
5. UF vs. Miami - This game is in the swamp, while these players know one another, UF is just better in my opinion. Miami is on its way back to top tier play, but not ready to beat the gators in the swamp quite yet. I am going with the GATAS…
6. Stanford vs ASU - Game is at ASU, they have some good firepower. ASU wins.
Other games of interest (to me at least):
Buffalo @ Pitt - interested to see how Pitt responds. The clock is ticking for the mustache (Dave Wanstedt). Time to start winning Dave.
Central Mich vs. Georgia - Remember the name Dan Lefevour, the kid can run and throw. Might make this game closer than people think
Miami (OH) vs. Michigan - The battle of which is worse. Michigan needs to win this game.

Those lovely Gator girls are getting me fired up for the trip to Gainesville for the LSU game on October 11th!!!

1. Oklahoma vs. Cincy - JW Likes Oklahoma in this one… Cinci’s d will make it close!!
2. PSU vs. Oregon St- I don’t like Oregon State. PSU wins this one….
3. Ole Miss vs. Wake Forest - I like WF in this one.. I think they are the only team in the ACC worth talking about…
4. West Virginia vs. ECU - I have been waiting for WVU to step up and be elite.. They are not national champs level yet… But they are strong enough for beat ECU.
5. UF vs. Miami - I smell something.. But it isn’t an upset.. it’s the barn burning.. this will be a close one… Miami by a TD
6. Stanford vs ASU - CHECK OUT THIS IS BOLD!!! BO MCNALLY!!! Mr Gebhart take down ASU… UPSET CITY!!! STANFORD in OT!!!
