The NHL Playoff Matchups are Set and so I ALLOCK

Let’s get the formalities out of the way. I was stymied in back to back shootout losses against the Islanders and Devils, and lost everything. My Rangers finished only 18 points ahead of the Isles and split the last 4 head to head games. NO HOUSTON’S FRENCH DIP FOR ME, but Mr. Allock has a few nice dinners coming his way, courtesy of the G-man. Congrats Pete!
Now on to the good stuff! Rangers open up a best of 7 game series against the hated New Jersey Devils tonight in the Brick City. Henrik against Marty!! Two of the best, if not the best goalies in the league. This should be a classic!
During the regular season, the Rangers owned this matchup. They won 7 of the 8 games, losing the last game. That should be a mental boost for NewJersey.
The Rangers need Jagr to stay hot, and get help from their second and third lines. Youngsters like Callahan, Girardi and Tyutin gained valueable playoff experience last year, and shouldn’t be to overwhelmed. It will be interesting to see how Dubinsky, Dawes and Staal fair, in their first post season run. And I pray to the lord, that Marek Malik sits!!!
Let’s give a warm schmaaaaa-dooooooooo to the hottie of the week, Carmen Elektra. I hope she is reading this article somewhere.
Also a big shout out from Petey Allocco to the Schmooooozer himself. I will be at game #3. And will post again after that game. LET’S GO RANGERS!!!!
