Overtime Win moves the Rangers Closer

    By Mystery Reporter | April 1, 2008

What an outstanding finish to the Hockey season we’re seeing! The Rangers won a 2-1 overtime game against Pittsburgh to move within 2 points of clinching a playoff spot.Drury-Scores

The Rangers, who have struggled to score goals as of late got excellent goaltending from Henrik Lundqvist and solid defense for most of the game. The win allowed the Blueshirts to split the home and home series, as they lost 3-1 in Pittsburgh on Sunday.

Next up for the Rangers is a huge home and home series against the Islanders. This will be for all the marbles folks. A Rangers win and they clinch a playoff spot, 2 Rangers wins, and GC is eating a Houstons’ French Dip sandwich on Pete next week.  2 losses and Pete will be eating at Houtons on my dime from now until June.  OHHHHH BABY!!!!!
