NCAA SECOND ROUND PREVIEW! LET THE MADNESS CONTINUE!

By The Real McCoy | March 22, 2008

Be sure to read about the Day 2 action below but first get your upset specials here for Round 2.

    MIDWEST BRACKET                                         Sienna-Saints

I love Siena beating Villanova here and I love K State upsetting Wisconsin. Siena has a Run & Gun offense that doesn’t have a brake pedal. And Wisconsin will have no answers for Michael Beastly. That’s not a typo. If The Beastly can stay out of foul trouble and Bill Walker continues to dominate, K State should advance to the Sweet Sixteen.

    Butler                                                       EAST BRACKET

This is a no-brainer. Butler beating Tennessee. Butler is a smart basketball team. They remind of those European teams that team USA always has trouble with in the Olympics. They play fundamental basketball and can shoot the three like their layups.

    SOUTH BRACKET                                                  Miami-Hurricanes

Miami over Texas. Miami are the bullies on the playground and Texas just might lose their lunch money. Miami rebounds, shoots, and plays the toughest interior defense I’ve seen this year. Texas better come out shooting or they’ll be six feet under fast.

    WVU                                             WEST BRACKET

Is this really an upset if West Virginia beats Duke. I don’t think so. It’s no accident that the Big East is undefeated in the tournament. Duke lives and dies by the three and I see them dying by it and West Virginia whistling dixie all the way into the Sweet Sixteen.

Mystery man calls one upset and nails his Siena over Vandy pick. Perhaps I should cover more than Hockey and College Football.
