Fall '06 - Game 4

After two weeks away from the Gridiron facilitated a pair of Sunday Fundays at Brother Jimmy's, the V.I. returned to Cow Meadow in Freeport to square off against a LI Natives team that was choc' full of familiar faces, including some members of the Village Idiots Summer Tournament team.

The Idiots had an easy time slicing through the Natives defense as BStan threw for 3 first-half scores, and then ran for a 4th TD to close out the scoring in the second half of the 25-6 V.I. win. Those TD passes were spread between Oscar, Tizio and, as expected, TWebs. In addition to exerting their offensive prowess, the Idiots defense thwarted much of the Natives attack throughout the day.

After evening their record at 2-2, the V.I. will have their eyes on returning to the playoffs as they roll into the second half of the season next Sunday at 10:30am.
